A Day in the Life

Hey guys!

So with the help of  keldjinfae_moon and caseyvalhalla , I've been working on a safe sex C2 all afternoon. It's called Let's Talk About (Safe) Sex. Because I think we all believe it's important and real, and we wanted to give those authors that have been including protection in their fics some recognition. We're also hoping to show how well safe sex can work in fanfiction so that more people will consider including it.

We have 32 stories, so it's not overwhelming, but there's a fair bit of material for your reading pleasure.

It's all Kingdom Hearts and mostly yaoi (of the Riku/Sora, Axel/Roxas variety) at the moment, but we're not excluding any pairings. It's just that those pairings are so popular, of course they have more safe!fic.

But if anyone can think of any other stories, feel free to comment here or PM one of us on FFN. Some het would be nice. Don't be shy if it's your own fic. :) The only rules are that story has to be of decent quality and it has to feature responsible attitudes about safe sex. Sex itself is just a bonus not necessary.

Also, I dreamt last night that Anderson Cooper was engaged to Tom Brokaw... however you spell that... Anyway, it was funny - I just totally took it as fact in dream, and I'm pretty sure I believed it right after I woke up... There was just complete acceptance until around lunchtime, haha. No idea why I feel the need to tell you all, but there you go.

Actually, pretty much everyone else fell... Johnny Weir, whom I usually adore, really lacked intrigue. It was v. flat. I miss his swan routine. Aw, Daisuke Takahashi made me happy, though. He fell a couple times, but he was so full of energy. <333

But I really miss the days of the Plushenko/Yagudin rivalry. That turned out some fantastic performances. God, where have the Russians gone? D:

However, I secretly love it. It's freaking hilarious. I was upset about a presentation I had earlier today (the other two talked too long; I didn't even get to say hardly anything despite the fact that my part was really important - we needed those marks! -_-) but this was like--instant smile. So we came up with some... rules? They were: Sora/Riku, less than 1,000 words, involving a nightmare, inspired by a Killers song that we chose for each other.  So... the beautiful and talented Jess once (meaning yesterday, I believe) wrote a drabble involving forty-year-old Leon, and it was lovely. So lovely that it left a gaping, old!Leonless hole in my life. I needed more. So I had her give me some prompts with which to create an old!Leon drabble. <3
